Presswork and hot flanging are highly specialised techniques in heavy boilermaking, essential for the repair and rebuild of vintage steam boilers. The ability to manufacture replacement flanged components is critical to restoring a boiler to its original design and ensuring long-term structural integrity.
Today, many of the traditional tools and methods used for this intricate work are no longer widely available. However, we’ve preserved these skills in-house and can produce custom-formed components in virtually any shape or size. Our presswork and hot flanging capabilities include:
